About Me
MEET CHEF MATTHEW WOODLEY
Growing up in the Cotswolds my love affair with food (and using it to earn a living!) started at the tender age of 10 when I spent the weekends cycling around and picking elderflowers with my brothers to sell to a nearby farm. Before long I was washing up at the local pub and the rest, as they say, is history. I began climbing the ranks of the kitchen and I was hooked!
I have now been a chef for over 20 years and have worked in all sorts of establishments from award winning pubs and brasseries specialising in British and French foods to fine dining Japanese and even Cambodian eateries. I've worked for well known names like Gordon Ramsay and Laurence Keogh and owned my own pub too. At the crux of it all though is a pure pleasure for creating memorable experiences and fun for people through food.
I can help with a variety of culinary challenges whether that's helping you to hone your own kitchen skills, providing a "drop off" service of restaurant quality food or catering for a family dinner or special occasion.
I frequently work in Henley on Thames, Pangbourne, Marlow, Reading and the surrounding areas of South Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.
